TASTINGS EVENTS	Join us on Monday, June 2, 2003 from 5:30-7:30pm for a very special event. The owners and winemakers from Deerfield Ranch Winery in Sonoma will be here to pour their award winning wines. Meet Robert and PJ Rex as they take us on a tour of one of Sonoma’s most talked about wineries.
	Deerfield Ranch is an award-winning winery located in the heart of the Sonoma Valley at Kenwood. They specialize in wine from select Northern California vineyards. The Deerfield Ranch lineup includes several varietals and blends, something for everyone, a wine for every occasion. Production lots are very limited and vary from 250 to 1000 cases. They currently produce about 12,000 cases and plan to grow to 25,000 cases upon completion of their new winery expansion. They are currently distributed in 14 states and Bermuda. Cellars Wine & Spirits Warehouse is pleased to be the preferred retail wine & spirits company for distribution of the Deerfield Ranch wines in South Florida. A selection of their wines includes:
	2001 Sauvignon Blanc –	barrel fermented, smooth (88 points, Wine Enthusiast)

	1999 Sangiovese –	Lake County, fruit forward, soft tannin, low acid (89 points, Wine Enthusiast)

	2000 Syrah –	big in the middle, smooth finish (94 points, Wine Enthusiast)

	1999 Merlot –	Russian River, big fruit, nice finish (90 points, Wine Enthusiast)

	2000 Merlot –	Clear Lake, not a wimpy Merlot, elegant, Cabernet in the finish

	2000 Old Vine Zinfandel –	in-your face, a Zin lover’s find. (91 points)

	1999 DRX –	a bordeaux style meritage blend, this is a serious wine.

	1999 Gold –	Late Harvest Botrytis Riesling – dessert in a bottle (92 points)
